A tech marketing and consulting guru, Eric serves as CEO/CMO of Nurture Marketing. He is a successful entrepreneur with broad experience across multiple business sectors, and helps customers transform their businesses through use of nurture marketing methodology: marketing with persistence, consistency, reciprocity, rapport, and ethics.
A noted thought leader in tech marketing and consulting, Eric promotes his philosophy that life is all about relationships, and that nurturing client relationships with customers can lead to strong, lasting connections. Eric has a unique ability to differentiate the key focus areas that help customer businesses grow. He is also coauthor (with Jim Cecil) of the definitive nurture marketing resource Nurturing Customer Relationships and a frequent keynote speaker on management and industry leadership. Eric holds a BA in Psychology from SUNY Buffalo, and co-founded Nurture Marketing together with Jim Cecil in 2003.
Jim Cecil’s early career in technology sales and marketing inspired him to create the nurture marketing concept and methodology. Jim saw a strong need for a more relationship-driven way to drive sales and do business, and combined this with technological advances to create a unique, automated marketing approach for staying top of mind and strengthening collaborative ties during the buyer’s journey.
Jim co-authored Nurturing Customer Relationships with Eric Rabinowitz as well as multiple articles on the topic, and frequently served as keynote speaker, introducing leaders in diverse industries to his powerful new way of doing business. Jim holds a BS in Commercial Photography and a BS in Marketing Research and Design, both from Brescia University. Jim co-founded Nurture Marketing together with Eric Rabinowitz in 2003.
An expert in channel marketing, sales enablement, and lead generation, Erik Frantzen guides the Nurture team with a great strategic mind, passion and a unique ability to connect with people. Erik Frantzen is a 20 year technology veteran, having spent nine of those years as Director of Business Development at Alpine Computer Technologies in Boston MA. There, Erik built vendor technology partnerships and strategic partnerships with national organizations such as Software Spectrum, Stratus Computer and Microsoft, winning numerous accolades for Alpine.
For the past ten years, Erik has served as the primary Marketing Liaison to Microsoft for Microsoft Marketing Vendors such as Brainshark, B2B Contact, Aberdeen Group (Harte-Hanks) and Launch International. Erik is currently the President of Nurture Marketing. He is a graduate of UMASS at Amherst and received his MBA from Northeastern University in Boston. Erik has consulted with Nurture Marketing since the company’s founding, and became its President in 2014.
Bob Levine brings extensive technical and computer science expertise to his direction of Data-Prof, Nurture’s verified B2B data contact division. Bob has directed technical support for major computer hardware and software companies; served as a corporate IT consultant and trainer; and taught computer science in academic environments.
Bob holds a BA in Economics and History from Brown University, and an MA in History from Columbia University. Bob has directed Nurture Marketing Data Prof division since 2013.
Isabel Smith brings fifteen years of senior level communications experience to Nurture Marketing. She has led creative teams and built brands for ‘celebrity experts’ in the health and beauty industry; and produced content marketing, public relations, advertising, and integrated marketing campaigns for major international firms and non-profit organizations—including such verticals as technology, finance and education.
Isabel graduated from Haverford College with a dual BA in Russian Studies and History, received MFAs from VGIK in Moscow and USC in film history and screenwriting, and holds an MA from Columbia University in Russian History. Isabel is fluent in Russian, and has been working with Nurture Marketing since 2010.
Ellen Pensky is a senior level marketing executive with proven abilities to create and implement successful demand generation, sales enablement tools, events, social media, public relations, and branding programs. She has over 30 years of experience in helping hundreds of large companies like Cisco, AT&T, BT, SunGard Availability and other startups and smaller businesses increase their buzz.
Ellen is well-known for her ability to assess communications situations and implement programs to meet objectives, and her programs and activities have won numerous awards. Ellen holds a BS in Journalism from California Polytechnic State University—San Luis Obispo, and has been a part of the Nurture Marketing team since 2014.
Sarah Damaskos is an Integrated Marketing Account Manager and Creative Web Professional specializing in B2B Business. With over 20 years of agency experience, she knows how to deliver results in a fast paced and demanding environment. Her responsibilities have included account management, website strategy and implementation, and content management through social medial and traditional marketing communications platforms; and Sarah’s diverse background includes such verticals as industrial control hardware; commercial and industrial software and applications: renewable energy; and environmental health and safety (EHS).
Sarah graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS in Industrial Design, and has served as Nurture Marketing’s Director of Strategic Marketing since 2013.
David Rabinowitz’ strong creative eye and narrative instincts have led to his successful career in video marketing and film production. David has written and produced highly effective video content campaigns for technology firms, publishing houses, and the film and TV industry.
David served as Multimedia Producer for the Wall Street Journal before joining the Nurture Team; he has also worked as a social media account manager, video producer, freelance copywriter, and journalist. David graduated from Quinnipiac University with a BA in Media Production, Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management. He has been part of Nurture Marketing since 2013.
Leigh Stoecker has over 20 years of graphic design experience, allowing for award-winning facility in multiple design styles. Leigh’s expertise extends from trade shows to websites to photo shoots and more. Her clients have included B2B and consumer products companies in a variety of verticals, and she has created successful branding campaigns for small local businesses as well as large companies as far away as China.
Leigh graduated Suny Plattsburgh with a BFA in Graphic Design and Photography. She has served as Nurture Marketing’s Lead Designer since 2007.
Tara Ennis has over fifteen years of senior level strategic copywriting and content management experience in a variety of industries--including technology, beauty, education, and journalism. She has worked as an integral member of in-house creative teams and in fast-paced agency environments in America and in Europe, and held senior level positions in the marketing departments of such ‘household name’ organizations as Paul Mitchell, UCLA and Newsweek.
Tara received her BA in Germanic Language and Literature from Knox College, completed additional graduate work in German Literature at Freiberg University, and holds an MS in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University. Tara is fluent in German, and has been working with Nurture Marketing since 2013.
For 22 years, Jeff Hilton owned and operated Hilton Computer Strategies, an IT training business in Houston, Texas. After successfully selling HCS in 2008, he started a new company focused on business owner success tools. His company, KnowledgeCircles, provides Microsoft partners and other IT related business owners with business coaching, peer advisory group meetings, project management classes, and business education webinars.
Jeff is the founder of the The Alliance For Channel Success, a consortium of industry thought leaders and service providers.
Ken Thoreson is a sales leadership professional who “operationalizes” sales management systems and processes to pull sales results out of the doldrums into the fresh zone of predictable revenue. Ken is recognized as an expert in sales execution, channel management, revenue generation, sales analysis, compensation, forecasting, recruitment, and training within the sales function.
Prior to founding Acumen, Ken led development‐stage, entrepreneurial, and a $250 million national vertical software sales organization as vice president of sales.
Karl Ufert is a 20-year veteran digital marketing and communications executive. He has led Mitra Creative, his web design and development, SEO, Social Media and other design and content production firm, founded in 2005, based in New York City, to wins of two MarCom Platinum Awards and three MarCom Gold Awards.
Karl is a member of IAMCP NJ, and he shares with Eric Rabinowitz producing and hosting duties for the Microsoft Marketing Round Table Group.
